Hello, I'm Debbie!
I'm a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) and Registered Acupuncturist (RAc.). As part of my 4 year doctoral degree in Chinese Medicine, I did a three month intensive clinical internship at a teaching hospital in Jinan, China. This experience captured my heart for travel and opened my eyes to the world! Having more time and a more balanced lifestyle has given me the opportunity to include more yoga and meditation in my life which I have come to cherish. I also love the mountains and the ocean and have always felt a strong connection with this kind of environment. My focus now is to divide my time between working and spending more time volunteering with people and pets as I journey around the world. One of my most treasured quotes comes from the book The Alchemist: “when each day is the same as the next, it’s because people have forgotten to recognize the good things that happen in their lives each day that the sun rises”. I've learned that life is the moment we're living right now and I do my best to live by this simple truth of being mindful. |
Hello, I'm Doug!
I spent many years building my career in the corporate pension industry working in education and as a client relationship executive. In the last several years, I've deeply enjoyed working as a financial coach with a non-profit organization who helps families with cognitive challenges. My goal now is to balance work with exploring and discovering the areas of my life I enjoy most including working with pets and animals and volunteering. I love to be outside enjoying and exploring this world we live in and I believe that nature provides us with an insight into how we're all connected as one. I enjoy sports, reading, hiking, skiing and snorkeling. I've also volunteered many years within several organizations and in particular, I was fortunate to be involved with a pet visitation program with our dog Gracie. I learned a great deal about how to live a happy life from this experience with animals and I learned early in his life that by giving of my love, time and experience to others, I receive so much more than could ever be given. |
